Salamanca is 200 Km west of Madrid and there is regular bus and train services.

Direct bus to Salamanca

If landing at Madrid airport (Adolfo Suárez Madrid-Barajas Airport), which is 12 km northeast of Madrid, you can take a direct bus to Salamanca leaving from the terminal T1 and T4 from the terminal. Reservations can be made from:

By bus

From the South of Madrid station often depart buses to Salamanca. Visit the following link to see timetables and fares:

The online system allows you to book a ticket (14.05 or € 20.45  for a one way ticket to the N or E services, see below). You can download and print the ticket. If you do, you just present on the bus. You also have the possibility to buy the ticket at the station.

Once at the station of Salamanca, the best option is to take a taxi to your hotel. The taxi should cost you between 5 and € 10.

By train

From the Chamartin train station often serves trains to Salamanca. Visit the following link to see timetables and fares and reservations:
